Now tell me who doesn't love candles right?

I get a warm, cosy, homely feeling whenever I light a candle and here is what candles are on my wishlist right now!

Top row, Left to right:

Mint Choc Chip - Kiss Air Candles £8.50
Strawberries and Champagne - Flamingo Candles £12.00
Fairy Dust - Lily Flame Candles £12.00

Bottom row, Left to right:

Guava Pina Colada - Bath and Body Works $22.50
Baby Powder - Yankee Candle £21.99 (Large Jar)
Pink Candyfloss - Candle Belle £12.00

I have purchased the Fairy Dust candle before in the tinned jar and I adore the scent. It really is like fairy dust, such a magical fragrance! So I would recommend this to anyone to try out.

Have you tried any of these candles? I would love to know your thoughts or if you recommend any of your personal favourites.

Whilst I was spending my birthday weekend down in London I went shopping in Selfridges and came across this perfume, Bon Bon by Viktor & Rolf.

About Viktor & Rolf Bon Bon:

"BONBON eau de parfum by Viktor & Rolf, a timeless sensation inviting a pure and absolute pursuit of pleasure. She who wears BONBON, dresses herself in perfume while creating her own story. She is empowered, beautiful and complete. Caramel characterizes the scent's evolution. From inception to completion, the caramel notes mature from a sharp, edible top note to softer and milkier in the middle then darkening to add depth to the base note. A pure delight, a haute confection."

I purchased the limited edition version of the Bon Bon and as you can see from the above picture the limited edition bottle comes with a diamante bow around the lid. The bottle is gorgeous and it already had me sold before i even tested it! I love anything pink, sparkly and girly so this is perfect for me. I also love how the bottle is sculpted into a bow shape.

Bon Bon Eau de Parfum features fruity/citrusy notes top notes of Mandarin, Orange and Peach followed by the heart notes of sweet Caramel, Jasmin and Orange blossom. The base notes include the woody notes of Cedarwood, Guaiac wood, Sandalwood and Amber. So if you like a sweet/fruity fragrance then this is the one for you! I also find that this scent lasts on me for literally the whole day.

I love Bon Bon it's a sweet, delicious fragrance just like the name itself! It's a sophisticated and feminine scent without being sickly sweet. Although because of it's price tag I don't wear it daily, i like to save it for special occasions but I would definitely repurchase this again for when I want to treat myself.

The fragrance is avaliable in 30ml at £50.00, 50ml at £70.00 and 90ml at £99.00 and you can also buy added extras which include a body oil, body lotion, body cream and shower gel.

Have you tried Viktor and Rolf Bon Bon?

Whilst I was away in London last year celebrating my birthday, one of the days I went shopping in Harrods. The doors in which we entered led us straight into the beauty department where I made my first port of call, the MAC counter.

There are so many MAC lipsticks that are on my wishlist but I came across the shade Captive which is one of MAC's satin lipsticks.

Captive is a pinkish plum colour as described by MAC but I feel that it has more of a berry tone to it. It also has a satin finish. The true colour of this shade can be visible in just two swipes on the lips.

The texture of the lipstick is smooth and creamy and glides onto the lips easily with or without lip balm added beforehand.

It is a rich and a highly pigmented colour and I find that it has great wear time and doesn't dry out my lips at all.

Have you tried Captive before? What is your favourite MAC Lipstick?

Being a beauty blogger I am always being introduced to new products/make up items whether it's coming across them via other bloggers or whether it's from me spending hours online shopping or taking a trip down the make up isle. I probably already have enough make up but i'm a little obsessed and find myself wanting to add more to my collection.

Here are just a few of the brands that I want to try out this year...

Makeup Geek - I've seen and read alot about Makeup Geek recently and how their eyeshadows are really pigmented. Having it avaliable in the UK over on BeautyBay makes it a lot easier to get my hands on their products. I would love to customise my own Z Palette and knowing that I will love and use all the shades just makes the idea of it sound even better!

I love the idea of creating a palette myself, knowing that I love and will use all of the shades in it - See more at: http://www.theindigohours.co.uk/2016/01/ten-beauty-brands-i-want-to-try-more-of.html#sthash.ZhReMyhD.dpuf

Anastasia Beverly Hills - So i'm sure you have all heard about the Contour kits, Glow Kit and the Dipbrow Pomade, I have heard good things about these. I would love to try these out and also the Liquid Lipstick. I love the shades Catnip, Sweet Talker and Soft Lilac.

NYX - When I have been to professional beauty at Manchester I saw stand that sold NYX cosmetics. As it was packed and couldn't get a chance to swatch any products I sadly didn't make a purchase, but on my recent trip to London I came across this brand in Selfridges. I managed to get my hands on two of the Soft Matte Lip Cream which I love. I would also like to try out the Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator. NYX is also avaliable on the Boots website!

Colourpop - I really want to try out the Lippie Stix and the Ultra Matte Lip! The shades are beautiful and knowing they don't ship to the UK just makes me want them even more! I hope in the future Colourpop is avaliable in the UK at some point or ships to the UK.

Charlotte Tilbury - I love the packaging of Charlotte Tilbury products! Whilst I was on my trip to London I saw this brand in Harrods and Selfridges. I swatched some of their K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipsticks and I fell in love. They are definitely at the top of my list to try out this year! Along with buying the 3rd edition makeup bag. The crimson and rose gold colour go perfect together and I love the quote on the on the back "Give a woman the right make up and she can conquer the world"

What brands do you want to try out?

Hello lovelies! Hope you are all having a nice week so far.

So for Christmas my parents bought me the Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium gift set. In the set you recieved Black Opium 50ml and a little 7.5ml bottle which is perfect to pop in your handbag!

About the fragrance:

"Discover Black Opium, the new feminine fragrance by Yves Saint Laurent – new glam rock fragrance full of mystery and energy. An addictive gourmand floral with notes of: Black Coffee – for a shot of adrenaline; White Florals – to instantly seduce; and Vanilla – for sweetness and sensuality."

" The Fragrance Composition:
When the electrifying energy of black coffee meets the assertive femininity of white flowers. A vibrant, sensual and addictive contrast of light and dark. Black coffee accord - Orange blossom - Cedarwood – Patchouli

Olfactive Family:
Oriental floral gourmand"

Personally i've never tried the original Yves Saint Laurent Opium fragrance so I can't compare them both but Black Opium Eau de Parfum is devine and I fell in love with this scent from the minute I tried the tester.

For me I find that the scent is quite strong so I don't have to spray a lot on myself. I love that it is long lasting and find that it is perfect for autumn/winter time or get your sparkly dress and heels on, find your red lippy, this scent is perfect for special occasions/nights out. I've also had plenty of compliments on this fragrance.

I love the look of this bottle with the black glittery finish, but don't worry it had been coated so you won't be covered in glitter. I think that it has more of a glamourous look about it compared to the YSL Opium.

You can find YSL Black Opium in Boots, Debenhams and The Perfume Shop.

Is Black Opium on your wishlist?
