A few weeks back I came across a yummy looking Kinder Bueno cake on twitter which was made by @Abigail__Brown and she gave me the reciepe from @shewhobakes1

I love Kinder Bueno and Nutella so I couldn't wait to try it out plus how perfect is this for easter?

The ingredients that are needed and the reciepe are all taken from Britt's (shewhobakes) blog Here but here is a step by step guide of what I used and  how I made this.

Ingredients (I have added extra for the decoration) :

Cake:
  • 150g self raising flour
  • 100g ground hazlenuts (or I used chopped hazelnuts)
  • 200g caster sugar
  • 50g cocoa powder
  • 200g unsalted butter/Stork
  • 4 eggs
  • 100g Nutella
Nutella ganache:
  • 300g Nutella
  • 150ml double cream
Decoration:
  • Kinder Bueno (white and chocolate)
  • Kinder Chocobons
  • White Chocolate Chips
  • x2 Kinder Eggs
  • Kinder Chocolate Sticks
I slightly added more Nutella to my cake though... and I'm not even sorry haha!

 Tools:
  • Whisk (or you can use and electric one)
  • Spatula
  • Greaseproof paper
  • Cake tin
  • Bowl
  • Weighing Scales

First start off by weighing out all of your ingredients.

Add your castor sugar and unsalted butter into a bowl and mix.

Add in the 4 eggs and flour and mix together

Add in the chopped hazelnuts.

Also add in the cocoa powder and mix together.

Add your Nutella into the mixture and whisk together making sure there are no lumpy bits.

Make sure you have lined your tin then add the cake mixture into the cake tin. Put this in the oven for 1 hour 30 minutes at 140c but I think I did mine on 150c.

Now let's move onto the ganache.

Put your nutella and cream into a saucepan and heat for a bout a minute until the nutella starts to melt.

Turn the heat off and whisk together until the ganache is smooth. Then leave to cool on one side.

To check your cake is ready pop a skewer in the middle and see if it comes out clean. If not you may need to pop it in the oven a little bit longer. Then leave the cake to cool.

Once the cake is cooled you are now ready to put the ganache onto your cake. I covered mine on the top and around the sides of the cake.

Then you are ready to get decorating!

Go all out or make it simple, as you can see I did go a little crazy but why not.

All that you need to do then is eat and enjoy the cake. Yummy!

Oh and maybe the washing up too but that can wait, haha!

This was my first ever cake that I have made and I am pretty proud of how it has turned out. Although I did find that the cake was a little bit uneven around the edges due to using the greaseproof paper and I think i used a bit of a too big cake tin but never mind, it's just trial and error!  I think next time I make this I would love to try and make a white chocolate ganache instead.

Have you tried making Britt's Kinder Bueno & Nutella cake?
I can't wait to try out more of her reciepes!

It was through twitter where I was first introduced to ClaireaBella. I had seen a few people who owned their own jute bag and also saw that loads of celebrities also love this brand.

I was on holiday last year in the Dominican Republic and I saw a girl with her own personalised Jute bag, since then I just knew I wanted to have one myself, so a few weeks ago I decided that I wanted to purchase my own Jute Bag. I went online at the Toxic Fox website and had a little nosey through the Jute bags they sold. I came across the ClaireaBella Special Edition Shopaholic Jute Bag. Seeing this I just knew this was the one for me, I customised it and bought it!

I had to wait just over 2 weeks for my bag to be delivered but I expected that as they are all handmade. I was at work when it arrived at home so when my mum texted me to say it had been delivered I couldn't wait to get home to see what it was like.

The Shopaholic Jute Bag features this gorgeous pink outfit surrounded by shopping bags and is accessorised with a wine glass. It features swarovski elements, a "handmade with love" charm, a rosette and bow and plenty of glitter!

This beautiful ClaireaBella special edition shopaholic jute bag retails at £39.99 and is perfect for all you shopaholics out there! So don't miss out on this as it's only here for a limited time only.

After my bag arrived a couple of days later I recieved an email to say that it was ClaireaBella's birthday and to celebrate there was 50% off selected items! I just knew I had to take this offer up so I ended up making another cheeky purchase and bought myself the Bikini Glitter Passport Cover this normally retails at £14.99 but with the 50% off code I grabbed it for £7.49. Again I got to customise this by choosing what bikini/hair colour/style I wanted.

The passport cover has a lovely pink interior and features 3 pockets for cards. It is a perfect summer holiday essential!

Everything sold within ClaireaBella you get to customise your item of choice. You can personalise your own item by choosing the hair colour, hair style, outfit of choice, eye colour, skin colour and you get to put your name on it.

There is a range of other types of bags too including canvas, makeup bags, occasion and even your own petabella bag. ClaireaBella also offers a whole range of merchandise from suitcases to mobile phone cases, mugs, clothes, wine glasses and much more!

You can find them over on twitter @ClaireaBellaLtd and @ToxicFox or online at ClaireaBella at Toxic Fox

Remember when you were younger and started to experiment with different make up and your favourite celebrity looks? Did you go out shopping and buy your make up from Claire's? Haha! I think this was the only shop I wanted to go in when I was 13 years old.

It makes me cringe to think about what we used to do back when we were growing up through high school and trying out the latest beauty trends.

Here are a few beauty mistakes that teens have made throughout the years:
(All images are taken from google)

 Foundation

This is probably on everyone's beauty mistakes list. Wearing foundation was the most grown up thing to do whilst being in high school. I use to go shopping, pop into superdrug and head straight to the Miss Sporty brand! Was Miss Sporty any one elses favourite cheap brand aged 13?
I found that other girls in high school often applied their foundation far too thickly and didn't blend it properly leaving an obvious line along the jaw! Also many girls chose a shade too dark for their skin. To be honest I probably didn't even need to wear foundation at that age!

 Concealer Lips

Now I wasn't one to do this make up trend but about 80% of the girls in my year at school did this. Basically they used concealer (or foundation) as a lipstick to create a nude lip look. Personally I didn't like this look so never tried it out myself.

 Lipgloss

There's nothing wrong with lipgloss but remember those really gloopy ones when you were younger and those glitter lipglosses? Your hair use to stick to it constantly!

Mascara

The mascara overload. The photo says it all really! Coating your lashes in about 5 different mascaras to create the spider lashes look.

Glitter Eyeliner

I used to love wearing this! I used to buy the Collection 2000 glitter eyeliner in about every shade going

Roll on Body Glitter

School disco? Friends party? Going on holiday? This was the perfect time to get the roll on body glitter out and let you skin sparkle!

Glitter Hairspray

Another item which was perfect for the school disco. Glitter makes everything better!

Other mistakes that were made were hair braids, over plucking your brows, hair mascara, bright eyeshdow and adding way too much blusher making you look like a clown.

Did you make any of these beauty mistakes growing up as a teenager?
