Chloe Louise -xo

When i'm out either at college, work or just going out places i like to carry a little kit with me which i called "my everyday kit".

I carry all of my little everyday essentials in a Ted Baker wash bag that i got for christmas from my Auntie, it included some Ted Baker products.

So now you want to know what i keep in this bag, right? well here it is:

1. Lip balm - I always have sore/dry/chapped lips so a lip balm is a must! I sometimes carry around 2-3 so i have a choice.

2. Tissues

3. Mints

4. Soap & Glory Mist You Madly spray

5. Soap & Glory Hand Food - As i live in England and most of the time it is cold/freezing this is good to carry around with you to protect your hands from getting dry from all of the coldness. It leaves my hands feeling so soft and it smells amazing!

6. Paracetamol - This may look funny in the picuture but it is just some paracetamol cut up in half wrapped in some tissue in a food bag, my mum did this for me as i can't swallow tablets, so it is handy to carry around with me incase i get a headache etc.

7. Chewing Gum

8. Soap & Glory Hand Maid (Sanitiser) - Need to kill those germs!

9. Nivea Mini Deodrant

10. Wet Wipes - Incase you have sticky hands from eating etc.

11. Nail Fail - So i am prepared incase i brake a nail

12. Impulse Body Spray

13. Olbas Inhaler Nasal Stick - I'm always having a blocked nose and i just love the smell :)

14. Mini Manicure Kit - comes in handy if you have any nail problems. Here is a photo of what the kit includes:

15. Plasters - New shoes? blisters? well i have learnt from my mistakes, going out in new shoes and getting blisters and having no plasters in my bag! well now i carry them all of the time, also come in handy incase i cut myself etc.

16. Breath Spray - You never know who you might bump into

17. Mirror

18. Small Pot of Nivea Moisturiser

And sometimes i carry around a spot treatment, just incase i breakout in a spot during the day.

And that's it! that's what i carry around daily :) Depending on whether i'm wearing make up on the day i will carry around some powder and lipstick/lipgloss within this kit, or sometimes i will take my makeup bag with the makeup that i'm wearing that day :)

So this post is going to be about my two tattoos.

I have always wanted a tattoo but i've never really seen that many designs that i liked as i wanted a smallish one but girly.

First tattoo:

In 2011 i went on holiday with some of my family and the hotel we stayed in had a tattoo studio so every day i was looking through the booklets to find any designs that i wanted. My auntie was also looking for one as she wanted to get one of hers covered. Then one day i was flicking through and found such a lovely design that included swirls and a flower, but it was a design that was meant to go on the side of your hand. But i spoke to the woman who was the designer (She was english) and she said that her husband (the tattooist who was turkish) would be able to do it wherever i wanted it. So i decided that i wanted it on my foot. We got to know everything and spoke about it to the women as the tattooist didn't speak any english and i decided that i wanted to go ahead with the design so the women did a transfer so i could see what the actual design would look like so i went to go show the rest of my family and they loved it and thought i should definitely go ahead with getting it if i really wanted it. So after a day/night of having the transfer on, we went back the next day on our way down to the pool and i happened to flick through the book again and found a better flower than the one i origionally chose. So again i spoke to the woman and they could do the design i wanted but with the better flower, so anyways i booked my appointment and it was booked for my last day as you aren't allowed in the pool/in the heat etc. As our flight was at night my appointment was just an hour or so before our coach picked us up so it worked out good timing.

Getting the tattoo: We looked inside the studio and it was really clean and everything was sterile. I noticed on the glass window there was a sign with a human body on and arrows and stars, when i looked closely i realised it was a diagram showing where abouts on your body was the most painful parts for getting tattoos. Of course i looked at the foot area and it showed 5 stars and said " very painful, you may cry or faint" (something like that) so i thought "oh great! it's going to hurt" not ideal for my first tattoo! :( Anyways i went inside and the tattoist prepared my foot etc and told me how to sit and then he started. It was over within 10-15 minutes i think, not bad at all! and another thing, it didn't hurt me at all! It is a weird sensation but i can't really describe it but if you have had a tattoo then you would understand what i mean. I followed all of my aftercare instructions correctly and when i got i did the same and it looks lovely!

Here it is:

I love it! and i don't regret having it done at all! It's smallish and girly, just what i wanted :) It also looks really nice with a pair of heels on.

Second tattoo:

Since getting my first tattoo i have wanted another one! but again i didn't really know what i wanted but this time i knew that i wanted lyrics, but which lyrics?

Well as i am a big fan of The Wanted, i wanted to get some of there lyrics tattooed on me but again as i love all of there songs it was finding the perfect lyrics . I listened to all of there songs and then it got to "Gold Forever" i love the lyrics to this song and one of them is " Live today like its the last night" so i really wanted that, as it has a meaning behind it, as you should live today like it's the last as you never know what could happen and it's lyrics from my favourite band so it would mean alot to me :)

My mum thought i should add some more into it and she came up with "You will live, You will love, So live today like it's your last".

So it kind of still has The Wanted lyrics in it just with abit more added and now i think it has more meaning behind it :)

Anyways we went to the tattooist and showed the desinger the words he re-arranged and added some flowers/petals and it looked really nice! we arranged to book it but he said had to be 18 to get it done, which we knew and understood so i booked it for december 2012 as my birthday is 30th november i wanted to get it done as soon as i turned 18.

As i was getting it on my hip the tattooist recommened that i should have numbing cream as he said it is quite painful in that area (also i'm tickilish there) so we decided that i would definitely get the cream.

The day of my appointment:

My dad applied 2 tubes of the cream as the tattoist advised and placed cling film over the area. We arrived at the tattoo studio and he did a transfer to make sure it was in the right place. It looked really nice and that was just with the transfer!

I had to lay on my side on the bed and he started. I couldn't even feel a thing. The numbing cream really did work! I could only start to feel it hurting a little when he was nearly finished. I think it only took him about 20 minutes to do the whole thing, which i didn't expect, i thought it would have been longer! Anyways i looked in the mirror and i loved it! It's so pretty.

Here it is:

(The photo was taken just after i had it done, so it does look sore, red and there is some blood spots)

Now i'm wanting a 3rd! haha i have no idea what of or where to get one next, but i'm sure i'll think of something :)

I have heard about the Balmi's from checking online on the boots website and once i saw them i knew i wanted to try them out, but everytime i went into the boots store at the shopping centre where i work, they never had any in stock, so i decided i would check out the boots store in town and thats where i found them!
These are like the UK version of the EOS Balms which i wanted to try out but i haven't been able to find a website that ships them to the UK.

I bought the strawberry one, it smells gorgeous! I love how it is not your normal lip blam, like a stick form, it's round and i find it really cute!

I'm not sure if i like the cardboard outer packaging but i love the product packaging although as it is rubber it may get dirty in your makeup bag/ handbag so i feel that a plastic packaging would be better. It also comes with a little key chain underneath so you can fix it onto your keys/phone etc which i think is rarther handy if your one to forget carrying lip balms but personally i wouldn't use this feature.

These lip balms contain a SPF 15 to protect your lips from UV rays and contains Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Jojoba Oil.

The lid twists off and reveals a half sphere shape. You just glide this across your lips and your done, smooth and soft lips! I also think this is more hygienic as you don't have to apply it with your fingers and don't have to worry about dipping your fingers into the pot of lip balm.

Once applied onto the lips it feels really moistursing and soft but i feel that it doesn't last very long and you would need to keep re-applying during the day but that doesn't bother me as i re-apply lip balms all of the time and i would rarther keep doing that to make sure my lips are really moisturised as i'm always having dry/chapped lips.

There are 5 scents all together and they are all different colours:
Strawberry (baby pink), Raspberry (hot pink), Coconut (white), Mint (pale blue) & Blackcurrent (black)

For some reason my boots store doesn't sell the blackcurrent one, but i would repurchase these and i am wanting to try out the raspberry, mint and blackcurrent ones, unfortunatley i do not like coconut so i would not purchase this one.

I think that Balmi should do other scents like the EOS balms, such as Summer Fruit or Lemon and maybe chocolate scented or other fruit scents.

These are priced at £4.99 which i personally think is a bit expensive for a lip blam but i'm willing to spend this on a one off occasion. These are avaliable in all Boots stores!

As you can see i bought a lot of lip prodcuts, especially lip balms! i just love them! Last night i placed them in my draw and realised how many i actually had:

Some of these are stacked up! i think i have about 38/39 lip balms! (i think 1 or 2 are not in this picture) wow thats a lot! and i still want more!

So recently i have been looking for some strip lashes that i can try out, but i didn't want to spend around £6.00 and waste them.

I have quite long eyelashes anyways as you can see from the photo below so i have never worn false lashes before therefore i can't apply them myself, so i wanted so to try out.

So within the last few weeks i have been to Primark and Wilkinsons where i found these:

I thought these were really good lashes for just £1 so i decided to get both the natural look and the full look.

Then i bought these from Wilkinsons:

And these were only 50p each!

All 4 come with eyelash glue aswell.

I better start practicing!

Do you have dry, chapped, flaky lips?

Well i do and i find this product works really well!

This is a lip scrub thats tates and smells of bubblegum.

"This sugary perfectly pink polisher keeps lips in tip top condtion."

You can buy this from any Lush store for £5.25 they also do other flavours which are popcorn and mint julips

I apply a small amount onto my lips and using my fingers i just massage over my lips and as this is a sugar based lip scrub i just lick off the remainder sugar or you can wash your mouth with warm water.

It leaves my lips so soft and smooth and provides a good base for when i apply my lipstick.

This little tub will last for ages! I try to use to 1-2 times a week as i have very dry/chapped/flaky lips and hardly any lip balm seems to work for me so this scrub helps a to get rid of the flakes for me to then apply my lip balm. It sometimes can make my lips a little sore so i wouldn't recommened you to be using it all of the time and to be gentle when you are massaging it into your lips, don't over do it.

This little pot is also really handy to keep in your bag or take with you when you are travelling.

You can also re-use the pot after the product has gone, maybe try making your own lip scrub or your own lip balm.

So for my 18th birthday i recieved the "Urban Decay Naked 2" palette.

Previous to my birthday i had seen many reviews about this and seen many smokey eye tutorials on youtube from this palette, so when one of my family members asked me what i wanted i did slightly mention this and then on the day she gave me it! I couldn't wait to try it out.

I love the packaging! but as i have never had the Naked palette i'm not able to compare the two.

Also this came with a little lipgloss, which i think is so cute and such a lovely colour.

Now onto the shades! The Naked 2 palette comes with shades:
- Foxy
- Half Baked
- Bootycall
- Chopper
- Tease
- Snakebite
- Suspect
- Pistol
- Verve
- YDK
- Busted
and Blackout
It has a mixture of both matte shades and shimmer shades and these all work well together to create the perfect smokey eye look.

Here are the swatches of these shades:

L-R: Foxy, Half Baked, Bootycall & Chopper

L-R: Tease, Snakebite, Suspect & Pistol

L-R: Verve, YDK, Buseted & Blackout

I would definitely recemmond this to other people.

You can buy the Naked 2 palette for £36 at Urban Decay stands in store such as Debenhams and House of Fraser.

I loved this bag when i first saw it and decided that for £13.78 it was such a good price as where i work BANK they were selling the almost  exact bag but for £25.99!

Heres the link -

(Photo taken from ebay)
It's so cute! :')

Right now i'm stuck on which other case it want. I have seen 2 and they both have the same design but one is a flip case and the other is a normal case for the back of my phone.

(Photos taken from ebay)

Which case do you think i should get? The flip case or normal case?

I bought the Maybelline Colour Tattoo Cream Eyeshadow in On & On Bronze a few weeks ago and i love love love it!

Heres what the superdrug website says about this product.

"Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Gel eye shadow.
With up to 24HR staying power. Popping colour that glides on.
Get inked! Our technology creates super -saturated shadow.
Cream Gel smooth’s on for vibrant colour that does not fade."

In my opinion i believe this is true! it really does last all day unlike some eyeshadows where you might have to re apply during the day/night.

I also think that is it such as lovely bronze colour

I wish they did more of a colour range though as i really think they are worth the £4.99 but £3.99 at the moment!

I have recently bought the Eternal Silver which i'm looking forward to trying out too!
And i'm thinking of buying the Immortal Charcoal and Endless Purple.

Have you tried out any of the colours?
What do you think of them?
