I love using a body scrub at least once a week, as I have quite dry skin, using an exfoliator/scrub helps to remove dead skin cells and leaves my skin soft. I have never used a body scrub from the Soap & Glory range before so when I purchased this a few months back I was excited to try it out.

About the product

A superhero strength skin smoothing body polish with shea butter, sweet almond oil, peach seed powder, sea salt and sugar. Transforms your scaly legs from reptilian to radiant. Scented with our Original Pink™ fragrance.

How to use

Apply a handful of Soap & Glory Flake Away™ Body Scrub 300ml onto damp skin and massage in circular motions until most of the grains are gone. Rinse well, pat dry and apply moisturiser over the top. But be careful! Avoid application over irritated skin or abrasions, as salt scrubs can sting.

My thoughts

This has to be one of my all time favourite body scrubs! Although it is quite expensive as it retails at £7.50 I would definitely buy this again but I would buy it as a little treat for myself or when Soap & Glory has an offer on. This is a really nice body scrub as the grains are not too harsh. I use this between 1-2 times a week and use it mainly on my legs and arms as it helps with my Keratosis Pilaris. It leaves my skin feeling really smooth and soft. The scent of this is amazing! I could literally smell it 24/7. The only downside to this I feel is that it runs out quickly as I have to use a good amount for my legs/arms so I only use this when I'm pampering myself and not on a daily basis. I also want to try out the other Soap & Glory's body scrubs such as the Sugar Crush and The Breakfast Scrub etc.

Today's post is going to be on my favourite shampoo and conditioner at the moment and this would have to be the Aussie Miracle Shine range. I have never tried Aussie products before so I didn't know if they were any good or not, I had seen a few reviews on these and wanted to try it out for my self. So a few months back I was in Wilkinson's with my parents and was looking through the beauty section and came across an Aussie deal, 3 products for £10 so as it was a deal and they usually cost about £4.99 and above, I decided to try these out. As I said I have never tried these hair care products before I didn't know which collection to choose from as they have a few (which i'll name further on in the post) Anyways I decided to choose the Miracle Shine collection.

About the Miracle Shine collection

For dull, tired hair begging to shine.

With Australian Ginseng extract and Pearl Powder
Re-ignite your hair's shine. Our special formula helps to revitalize tired, dull hair leaving it sensationally vibrant and shiny.
Now you can just wash and glow.

The other collections that are available are the following:

Take The Heat - For heat damaged hair
Miracle Moist - For hair that is dry and damaged
Colour Mate - For coloured hair
Aussome Volume - For fine, limp hair
Luscious Long - For long hair
Frizz Miracle - For flyaway, frizzy hair

My Opinion

Well, what can I say? This is amazing! Even after one use of the shampoo and conditioner I noticed a difference! With it being a product to add shine to your hair, I did think it would make my hair a bit greasy but doesn't! After a wash my hair looks so glossy/shiny and it feels super soft and a bonus ,it smells gorgeous!

I also bought the Miracle Shine deep treatment and I have used this around 2 times. Although I feel that this doesn't make my hair as shiny/glossy as to what the normal conditioner does. It says to leave on for about 3 minutes which I do, do I don't see as good results. If you are reading this please advise me on if you have had the same problem or whether I am suppose to leave it on for a few hours? Just leave me a message below :)

I would definitely recommend you to buy this and try it out! I'm also looking forward to trying out the other collections in the future.

A few weeks ago I was in Wilkinsons picking up some beauty products and I came across this. The Garnier Simply Essentials Soothing 2 in 1 Make Up Remover. I love Garnier products and as I don't have a liquid make-up remover only cream cleansers/cream eye make up removers and make-up wipes (yes I am lazy) I decided to try this out.

About The Product

Garnier Simply Essentials 2 in 1 Make-up remover contains plant extract and Pro-vitamin B5 in a 2 in 1 formula which combines the efficacy of a make-up removing oil (the blue liquid) with the freshness of a cleansing water (the clear liquid) in a single express wipe.

To use this you simply shake the bottle to mix the 2 liquids together. Then soak a cotton wool pad and wipe over your face until your make-up has been removed.

My Opinion

Personally I do not like this product. On the bottle it says "Leaving no residue" & "No rubbing" Yes it does remove make-up well but it left this oily residue on my skin! It didn't feel comfortable at all, it had to immediately wash it off after, also when I applied it to my eyes to remove my eye make-up, had to keep rubbing it to get my mascara off and it made my eyes feel irritated and it felt like they had a film over them, so I had to keep rubbing them, which made my eyes sore! It also made come out in a few little spots. If you want a cheap product that does work and is not bothered about the oily residue then yes I would recommend you to try this out but for me personally I will not be buying this again.
