One of the
things i love about christmas is definitley watching Christmas films and
getting in the chrismassy mood.
Even though
you would have probably seen them dozens of time you still find yourself
watching the same ones over and over again each year.
Now put on
your christmas pyjamas (please tell me im not the only one who goes out and
buys special christmas pyjamas/nightwear?) get comfy on the sofa and pop a film
on.
Here are some of my
favourite Christmas films:
Elf
"The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.” Now come on, who doesn't
love Elf? This has got to be my all time favourite christmas film. I will never
get tired of watching this. From the beginning to the end it is such a funny
film and gets you into the christmas spirit.
Deck the
Halls
I love this film about 2 neighbours who compete agaisnt each other to make their house the brightest during the christmas period. It gets me in the mood to decorate the house all festive.
The Santa
Clause + 2 + 3
Now The Santa Clause, Santa Clause 2 and Santa Clause 3 has to be up there within my all time favourite Christmas films joining Elf. I have watched this literally every year since being a kid.
Christmas
with the Kranks
And finally another christmas classic about a husband and wife wanting to skip Christmas but their daughter is returning home to spend Christmas with them.
All of these Christmas films are definitely ones to watch. With many hilarious moments that are guaranteed to have you and your family laughing.
Last night I went to go see Dirty Dancing at the Leeds Grand Theatre with my mum and auntie. We had these tickets booked since last year and it was part of my birthday present as my birthday is on Sunday! Time has flown by since we purchased them but last night was the night. I had been looking forward to seeing this on stage for ages and i was so excited as also we were sat on the front row of the stalls and i have never sat in them seats before.
This was my view from the front row on the stalls i was sat in seat 10 which was more or less centre of the stage so i had a pretty good view! The only down side was that we were slightly looking up to the stage but it didn't bother me that much, it was such a change being on the front row as usually we get seats within the upper circle so it was really good to actually see the characters faces and see how much effort/emotion they put into their performance.
Now Dirty Dancing is one of my all time favourite films that i could watch over and over again and watching it on stage i was pretty much saying the lines word for word as you all know the classic quotes such as:
"Nobody puts baby in the corner" "I carried a watermelon"
"Look, spaghetti arms. This is my dance space. This is your dance space. I don't go into yours, you don't go into mine. You gotta hold the frame" “Me? I’m scared of everything. I’m scared of what I saw, I’m scared of what I did, of who I am, and most of all I’m scared of walking out of this room and never feeling the rest of my whole life the way I feel when I’m with you.”
The show also featured the well known songs:
- Hey Baby! - Be my Baby - She's Like the Wind - Hungry Eyes and the one and only I've Had The Time of My Life.
Outfit of The Night
Black Fur Gilet - SelectGrey Jumper - PrimarkBlack Skinny Jeans - PrimarkGrey Boots - Primark I also tried out a new way of curling my hair without heat. To do this all i did was section my hair into two halves. Then getting a little section at a time i curled the hair around my finger and secured the section of hair with a pin curl clip. I then did the same for the rest of my hair. Once all of the pins was in i sprayed them all with hairspray. I left the pins in for most of the day and then when it was time to take them out i removed the pins and then again secured the curls with hairspray.
As this is my birthday week i decided to do my nails again! what a surprise haha. This time i decided to go for a "Pretty In Pink" theme.
Being a nail technician im always doing my nails and i love them to be all fancy.
These shall hopefully last me a few weeks unless i get bored and change the design which being me will probably happen. I also need to get thinking of a christmas design!

There's nothing better than coming home after being outside in the freezing weather and getting changed into a snuggly onesie/pyjamas and relaxing with the feet up on the sofa having a hot chocolate to warm you up.
But if you need to head outside into the coat, well the first thing someone will see is your outerwear so why not opt for a faux fur coat!
I'm back! Yes, even i can't even believe that i havent blogged since March this year. I have been really busy with finishing college around May/June time, looking after my dog Bailey and working so i've been neglecting my blog quite a bit. I also got to a point where i lost my blogging motivation, but i'm back now and hoping to get into the swing of things again. I have a few ideas for my next posts but i would be really grateful if you could help me out on getting back into blogging and to motivate me again, so leave your comments below!
